Favorite bartender in Fairhope –  Amy at the Dragonfly.  Great custom cocktails – using local and fresh ingredients.   Always get whichever champagne drink is on the menu.  So so good.  I love going there with my handsome hubby, but also have a fantastic time when going for girls’ night out.

Mardi Gras on the Eastern Shore

Fun, fun and more fun.  Mardi Gras Fairhope style is the way to go.  Brent and I were there last year, and loved the Fairhope parade –  community parade, family friendly, and lots of moon pies thrown off the floats.  This year, we hit the Daphne parade too!  Again, fun.  Again, friendly people.  A charity

Jesse’s Girls

In a recent girls weekend, my best buddies and I visited Jesse’s Restaurant in Magnolia Springs.  Only a 20-minute drive from the house, Jesse’s was delightful.  Twinkle lights in the garden sitting area, a restaurant (formerly the town’s general store) that was cozy and friendly, and a friendly and knowledgeable staff made the evening fun.
