Fun, fun and more fun.  Mardi Gras Fairhope style is the way to go.  Brent and I were there last year, and loved the Fairhope parade –  community parade, family friendly, and lots of moon pies thrown off the floats.  This year, we hit the Daphne parade too!  Again, fun.  Again, friendly people.  A charity ball in both towns, on different nights.  And the bars have N.O.-style Hurricanes and seafood appetizers.  We want to go every year, starting with the parades and ending the last day at Panini Pete’s for the most amazing beignets.
