In a recent girls weekend, my best buddies and I visited Jesse’s Restaurant in Magnolia Springs.  Only a 20-minute drive from the house, Jesse’s was delightful.  Twinkle lights in the garden sitting area, a restaurant (formerly the town’s general store) that was cozy and friendly, and a friendly and knowledgeable staff made the evening fun.  Steak was, in a word, amazing.  Desserts were big enough to be shared, and frankly, the friends made the evening one to remember.
